What causes scale in urinals?
Uric acid in urine reacts with minerals in water and hardens on the pipe wall. Live-bacteria blocks colonise the pipe and digest the crystals as they form.
Will an enzyme cleaner remove old stains?
Enzyme cleaners work on organic stains such as urine, vomit, food and pet accidents. Mineral stains such as rust need a different product.
